You start by contacting My Aged Care for an assessment, and the assessment decides what supports you are approved for. WonderHelp Care can guide you through what to ask for, help you prepare for the assessment, and then set up services once you are approved.

Some services may have a participant contribution depending on the service type and your circumstances. WonderHelp Care will explain costs in plain language and provide clear pricing before any service starts so there are no surprises.

No—participants do not pay contributions for clinical supports like nursing and allied health. If you need clinical help, WonderHelp Care is not providing clinical services yet.

In general, Support at Home services are delivered through one provider to keep your care coordinated. WonderHelp Care can organise and coordinate all your approved supports in one place so your services run smoothly.

Ongoing funding is usually provided in 3-month (quarterly) budgets. WonderHelp Care will help you plan services within your budget, show you what each service will cost, and adjust the schedule if your needs change.

Care management is the planning and coordination that keeps your care organised and safe. WonderHelp Care will create and review your care plan, coordinate your workers and services, communicate with family (with consent), and check that services are meeting your goals.

Your supports can be reviewed and changed when your needs change. WonderHelp Care will reassess your risks and daily needs, increase or adjust services where possible, and help you request reassessment if a higher level of support is needed.

It’s common to feel unsure, especially during program changes. WonderHelp Care will explain your approval and service options in simple terms, provide a written summary of your plan and costs, and answer questions any time you need clarity.
