Common questions about the program.

The Australian Government's funded program for older people who wish to remain living at home, delivering services under the Aged Care Act 2024.
Generally, older Australians aged 65+ (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) assessed through My Aged Care. Call 1800 200 422 to register.
Eight ongoing classifications (1 to 8) based on assessed need. Higher classifications receive larger quarterly budgets.
Clinical supports have no contribution. Independence and everyday living may attract a contribution based on means assessment. Annual and lifetime caps apply.
Yes. You have the right to choose and change your registered provider at any time.
